MHP and TWAICE join forces on battery analytics for e-mobility

Management and IT Consultancy MHP and TWAICE have formed a strategic partnership. Customers along the entire battery value chain will benefit from the expert teams’ combined competence.

‍

  • Automotive industry users and operators will gain from the unique combination of battery expertise and market knowledge
  • Digitalization expert and process supplier MHP develops innovative strategies
  • TWAICE software enables the predictive maintenance and design optimization of lithium-ion batteries

Munich/Ludwigsburg. The strategic partnership between TWAICE and MHP will help industry customers to efficiently manage the lifecycle and design of modern lithium-ion batteries. The close collaboration provides an integrated end-to-end solution that ranges from risk/opportunity analysis through to rolling out the TWAICE software. Only then is a sustainable value chain for development and operation of modern energy storage systems possible.

The technical and operative excellence underpinning e-mobility and smart energy storage relies on the lithium-ion battery, a key player in the energy revolution. These modern batteries are complex, difficult to design and wear quickly. This presents a big economic risk and a cost factor. The partnership between MHP and TWAICE addresses these issues, thereby reducing risk for e-mobility operators. “Combined, this partnership offers a holistic solution: from strategic conception through to implementation and software, enabling customers to meet their present challenges sustainably and successfully,” said Ralf Baral, Head of Partner Management at MHP.

TWAICE contributes technological knowhow to the partnership. The company’s predictive battery analytic software applies the digital twin concept to optimize the design, testing and lifecycle of batteries. MHP provides organizational support, working closely with the customer to assess the effects of e-mobility on processes and cost structures. Expert battery knowledge and problem-solving competence combined with extensive industry experience delivers a strategic, operative and technical high-quality solution from start to finish.

“We are happy to have found MHP, a competent and leading partner in the automotive industry. Their consulting and organizational competence is the ideal complement to our analytics software, enabling integration at customer level and maximizing customer value,” said Michael Baumann, one of the founders and managing directors at TWAICE.
