Thanks to Modo Energy’s market benchmarking data, it’s now easier than ever to understand how actions like performance adjustments or maintenance plans affect the bottom line.
Why this matters: Just a 1% increase in BESS availability can boost revenue by $2,000 per megawatt per year. That’s real money tied to real performance gains.

You’ll find the new Modo integration right on the Usable Energy Dashboard in the TWAICE platform. It combines real-time market (RTM) data with the system’s Recoverable Energy — the energy you could get back by, for example, fixing weak cells or rebalancing the system.
What does that mean in practice? You’ll see a daily estimate of how much extra revenue your BESS could earn in the real-time market once those performance issues are resolved. This real-time market data is based on an index of previous ERCOT or UK MWh real time market prices dynamically requested from Modo Energy. For more information about the index, check Modo Energy’s website.
Currently, the financial impact data is available for the ERCOT and UK market. Please reach out to us if you would be interested in additional markets.
The integration isn’t just about more data—it’s about smarter insights. By combining our energy analytics with Modo Energy’s market intelligence, we’re giving operators a powerful tool to make confident, data-driven decisions.

As an owner and operator, you can only get the most out of BESS, when you truly understand what’s happening inside the system. In our latest product webinar, the team shared a host of updates and new tools designed to cut through data overload and boost BESS performance.
TWAICE Energy Storage Analytics is a data analytics software for BESS operations, helping asset managers and performance engineers improve the lifetime, health and safety of their assets. Its features and data visualizations make it easy to pinpoint issues and detect operational risks, but to truly get to the bottom of what is happening, performance engineers must be able to easily access and analyze time-series data. That’s why we built Data Explorer.
State of Charge (SoC) errors are one of the biggest headaches in managing and operating battery energy storage systems, and they cost operators millions in lost revenue. TWAICE’s new feature, Penalty Risk Assessment, provides accurate SoC insights to help you avoid these costly outcomes.
