Thanks to Modo Energy’s market benchmarking data, it’s now easier than ever to understand how actions like performance adjustments or maintenance plans affect the bottom line.
Why this matters: Just a 1% increase in BESS availability can boost revenue by $2,000 per megawatt per year. That’s real money tied to real performance gains.
You’ll find the new Modo integration right on the Usable Energy Dashboard in the TWAICE platform. It combines real-time market (RTM) data with the system’s Recoverable Energy — the energy you could get back by, for example, fixing weak cells or rebalancing the system.
What does that mean in practice? You’ll see a daily estimate of how much extra revenue your BESS could earn in the real-time market once those performance issues are resolved. This real-time market data is based on an index of previous ERCOT or UK MWh real time market prices dynamically requested from Modo Energy.
